Pistachio storage, packaging and shelf life:

*Storage: Optimal storage conditions for pistachios are reported to be zero to 10 ° C and relative humidity 65-70%.

*Packaging: Pistachios are packed in different packages such as cartons, plastic bags, Polypropylene and vacuumed weighing 25-60 kg. Polypropylene alone is also a suitable wrapper for pistachio packaging, and is well used for preparing multi-layer packaging wrappers by vacuum as well as packaging filled with gas.

*Shelf life: Dried fruits, especially pistachios can be stored in cool and dry place for more than 12 months.
